Warrnambool May Racing Carnival

Of the 20 plus race meetings held by the Warrnambool Racing Club annually there is little doubt Warrnambool Cup Day is the biggest and best.

In fact the Warrnambool May Racing Carnival is officially the largest country racing carnival held in Australia every year attracting upwards of 35,000 people.

The race is held on the third and final day of the club’s three-day Grand Annual Steeple chase meeting in the first week of May.
